A Simple Process,

Recycling your hard hats with us starts with a few easy steps on our website. Once you've completed your order, you’ll receive everything you need by email — a barcode-linked document, a shipping label, and your payment receipt including a VAT invoice. Just pop your hats into a box (any cardboard box will do), place the barcode document inside, tape it shut, and apply the label.
From there, we take care of everything. Your box will be collected from your site by our logistics partner (Royal Mail or Parcelforce) and delivered directly to our specialist recycling centre. You don’t need to fill out extra forms or arrange complicated shipping — we’ve streamlined it all for you.
Once your hats arrive, we log them using the barcode, manually disassemble them, and sort the plastics by type and colour. The material is then shredded, melted, and reformed into new polymer pellets – the raw format used in countless manufacturing processes across the UK. While these pellets currently go into general production, we’re actively working with manufacturers to return them into the hard hat supply chain by 2025, closing the loop for true circularity.
